PATRONS
Any internationally reputed African democratic President, serving or retired who has contributed immensely to the course of unity, emancipation and peaceful co-existence of the African people shall be Grand Patron and Advanced Patron respectively. In addition, any woman of substance who possesses the quality of a grand patron and stands in the position of a Mother in Africa shall be appointed Grand Matron.
GRAND PATRON
The Grand Patron of African Peace Foundation from the inception has been Late Dr. Nelson Madiba Mandela, former President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Republic of South Africa, and a Noble Peace Laurel.
ADVANCED PATRON
The Advanced Patron of African Peace Foundation is Chief Gen. Olusegun Obasanjo (GCFR) former President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Federal Republic of Nigeria and the Grand Patron of the African Peace Heritage Centre.
