- AFRICAN PEACE UNIVERSITY: going by the agitation of all peace stakeholders, scholars, civil society organizations, various governments throughout the world calling for the establishment of a peace tertiary institution where peace and conflict issues can be paramountly tackled in laying a foundation for a universal
peace order, African Peace Foundation therefore resolved to take the bull by the horn to establish African Peace University to challenge herself to champion the course of a befitting Beacon Colony for the entire world where AFRICAN PEACE UNIVERSITYwill take the center stage to train and re-train our youths especially the less privileged, children of the artisans, handicaps, destitute, refugees, the internally displaced persons, the victims of war or disasters with little or no fee.
The establishment of African peace university is contained in the one hundred and ten hectares of land of the “BEACON COLONY” in Ondo City of Nigeria that comprises the full university establishment of 12 faculties, entrepreneurship development center, international tourism center, agro-allied development center, alternative medical development center, sports development center and ICT development center with the African Peace university campus as one of the components.
Beacon Colony is simply defined as home for intellectuals where people of diverse cultural, religious, ethnic, racial, political background will come together to brainstorm, research, and confab, take leisure and enjoy the entertainments produced by the combined tourist center and Faculty of Arts of the university.
Our vision is to be a tool for strengthening peaceful co-habitation among the people of the world as well as building champions through intellect in Africa and beyond.
In addition to the above, we are committed to the global need for qualitative peace education that has been dwindling in the last few decades especially in Africa with a view to meeting current and future challenges in our world in the area of technological and scientific know how.
- AFRICAN PEACE POLYTECHNIC: African Peace Polytechnic is promoted in Nigeria by African Peace Foundation and registered under National Board for Technical Education and approved by Federal Ministry of education as a conventional school devoted to excellence in education.
The Polytechnic however is established to provide hope for the hopeless and help the society create solution to over one million youths dropping-out of university’s admission criteria on yearly basis. This on her own will create the medium that will gradually impact peace into our society in line with Sustainable Developmental Goal of the United Nation.
